Romania, din nou intre cei mai mari 30 de poluatori
Termocentrala de la Turceni, judetul Dolj, s-a clasat pe pozitia 30 in topul celor mai poluante intreprinderi din UE pe 2009, publicat de Comisia Europeana. Spre deosebire de anul trecut, centrala a coborat o pozitie, iar Combinatul siderurgic ArcelorMitttal Galati, situat anul trecut pe pozitia 28, a iesit din clasament, transmite Reuters. |

Suprafata totala a padurilor din UE ramane stabila, dar “plamanii verzi” ai Europei sunt amenintati de un management defectuos, poluarea aerului, schimbari climatice, extinderea zonelor urbane si retelele de transport, arata Agentia Europeana pentru Protectia Mediului (EEA) in cea mai recenta evaluare a starii padurilor. |
